Description
This drill bit features a brad point which has two main advantages. First the point makes lining up the drill with your mark very accurate and keeps the drill from walking when starting the hole. The second is that you can set your drill press to top when the point just breaks through. Then flip the board over and finishing drilling from the other side by locating on the small hole where the point broke through. This eliminates any tear out on either side of the hole.
