Don Roettger

I have been into the woodworking hobby for approximately 12 years. During this time I have tried to encourage my handicapped son to work with me. There was nothing that I could find that interested him until a recent trip where I saw the Ring Master machine in operation and also purchased several unfinished bowls with the idea of finishing them for ourselves. My son became so intrigued with the idea that I decided to look into purchasing the machine so we could work together. I had no idea that the end result would turn out like it has. He has become very proficient at using the machine and spends all his spare time being creative. This has been a very rewarding experience for me as now I have a partner. It is his job to create and cut and glue the bowls while my assignment is to sand and finish them. Since he is still working he takes them in the office to sell until I start my craft show exhibits
