This heartwood varies from pale yellowish-brown to pale olive-brown streaked with olive green, dark gray, or pinkish-brown, and when mineral stained, streaks of steel blue. Grain is straight, regular, fine texture. Yields beautiful results when turned into a bowl or vase. This stock has been prepared for use on the Ring Master Lathe. It is check free and planed down to 7/8 thick, cut into 5.75" hexagons with 1/2 hole drilled in center, ready to mount on your Ring Master Lathe.
